NEW for 2021 – Game Day Details


The Bellingham Bells have worked with the City of Bellingham and the Whatcom County Health Department, as well as the State of Washington, to identify the best practices to ensure fan safety when visiting Haggen Diamond at Joe Martin Field. In preparation for the 2021 season, the Bells have outlined protective measures that will be implemented around Joe Martin Field with the intention of providing a safe & comfortable game day experience for staff, players and fans when attending a Bells game.

As of June 30, 2021, the following policies are in effect for attending a Bells game at Joe Martin Field.

  • Masks are optional for fully vaccinated individuals. We ask fans who are not yet fully vaccinated to wear a mask in shared spaces.
  • Social Distanced Seating will not be in affect. All seats will be available for purchase in all sections by anyone, regardless of vaccination status. All seats remained assigned seating.
  • No outside food or drink will be allowed. As has been the case in seasons past, outside food and drink are not allowed into Joe Martin Field (in accordance with our Washington State Liquor & Cannabis and Whatcom County Health Department Food Serving Permit). Empty water bottles will be allowed for filling once you enter the stadium.
  • Bags are allowed. All bags are subject to search at the front gate. Liquids of any kind, outside food or beverage, alcohol, noisemakers, weapons and other items as addressed on our fan rules & regulations page, are not allowed.
  • Enhanced ballpark cleaning practices will be in place to keep fans, staff and personnel safe. Hand Sanitizing stations will be easily accessible and public bathrooms will adhere to social distancing protocols. We encourage all fans, staff and personnel to wash their hands frequently when at Joe Martin Field
  • We encourage purchasing tickets ONLINE at www.bellstickets.com. Tickets will also be available at the Joe Martin Field ticket office. The Bells ticket office at Joe Martin Field will open on the days of all home games, Monday – Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and Sundays at 10:00 a.m. The ticket office will also be able to assist with ticket transfers, ticketing questions and voucher redemption.   • For the 2021 season, cash will not be accepted at Joe Martin Field. All point of sales will accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express & Discover.

  • Feeling Sick? Stay Home! In an effort to keep all fans, players & staff safe this summer, we ask that you refrain from attending Bells games if you are feeling ill or have recently had a sore throat, fever or other COVID-19 related symptoms.
