John Ayre Promoted to Assistant General Manager
The Bellingham Bells are excited to announce the promotion of John Ayre to Assistant General Manager, effective immediately. Previously, Ayre served as the team’s Director of Corporate Partnerships.
Ayre joined the Bells in November 2020. 2022 will be his second season with the team.
In his new role, Ayre will continue to work with corporate partners, as well as work closely with GM Stephanie Morrell on the day-to-day operations and management of the Bells.
“John made an almost instant impact on our team,” Morrell said. “His prior experience in the sports industry at various levels enabled him to come in and immediately find ways to contribute. His dedication, energy and knowledge are invaluable, and this promotion is certainly very well deserved. I look forward to all the contributions I know John will make in his new role.”
“I can’t thank Glenn [Bells owner] and Stephanie [Morrell, Bells GM] enough for this opportunity,” Ayre said. “As I’ve said in the past, it’s an honor to be a part of the Bells Family. The support our community shows for the Bells is second to none. I look forward to not just working more closely with Stephanie and our staff but continuing to grow our commitment to our community. We have some awesome new programs this year like our youth baseball camp series and new corporate partner programs that I’m very excited about.”
It’s Game Time!
