2023 Schedule Release
Bells Release 2023 West Coast League Schedule
The Bellingham Bells are excited to announce the release of the 2023 West Coast League schedule.
The Bells will begin play at Joe Martin Field on Friday, June 2nd, beginning the season with a three-game series versus one of the league’s newest teams, the Edmonton Riverhawks.
The schedule features 29 home games at Joe Martin Field, including new promotions throughout the season and a home game on the Fourth of July.
“2022 was a fantastic season, both on and off the field. We are really looking forward to continuing the momentum into the upcoming season,” Bells general manager Stephanie Morrell said. “We have a fantastic roster of players prepared to compete and a slate of fun promotions planned. As we plan for a new season, our team is focused on ensuring Bells Baseball will continue to meet and exceed fan expectations while providing a high-quality, affordable family friendly entertainment option for the Whatcom County community.”
The West Coast League, for the second season, will compete as a sixteen-team league. 2022 marked a first successful WCL season for the Kamloops Northpaws, Edmonton Riverhawks, Springfield Drifters and Nanaimo NightOwls.
“We are extremely encouraged by the continued growth of the West Coast League and look forward to another exciting season in the North Division,” Morrell said. “We can’t wait for Opening Day!”
