Bellingham Bells Announce Departure of Head Coach Bob Ralston

[Bellingham, WA] — The Bells have announced that Bob Ralston will be stepping down from his position as Head Coach. After a single season, Ralston has decided to step down due to personal reasons.

In the 2024 season with the Bells, Coach Ralston guided the team to a record of 32-22. His leadership and dedication were evident as the team made it to the 2024 West Coast League Postseason for the fourth consecutive year and made it to the North Divisional Title Game, eventually falling to the Wenatchee AppleSox in a 1-0 contest. Coach Ralston, alongside his coaching staff, also coached the North Team of the 2024 WCL All-Star Game, leading the North to a 3-2 walk-off win.

“I am grateful to Bob for his leadership and efforts during what was a really special 2024 season,” Bells general manager Stephanie Morrell said. “While we fell short of our ultimate goal of winning the West Coast League title, it was a really memorable summer. Our team worked hard, played for each other and represented Bellingham well. Coach Ralston showed great leadership and skill in managing the team through a long summer. We appreciate everything he did for the Bells during his time here, and wish him all the best.”

The Bells plan to announce the 2025 coaching staff in the coming weeks.
