Three New 2025 Pitching Additions

BELLINGHAM, WA — Wednesday, February 12, the Bellingham Bells announced the addition of one TCU pitcher, Kade Eudy, and two Cal State San Bernardino pitchers, Ivan Rodriguez and Carter Herrera.

Kade Eudy is a right-handed pitcher entering his freshman year at TCU for the Horned Frogs. The recent Crosby High School graduate racked up more than 200 strikeouts in high school. He also was recognized as a 5A All State Elite Team selection as a two-way outfielder.

Perfect Game selected Eudy to their Texas All Region 2nd Team in his senior season. Eudy was a great hitter in high school but will now focus on becoming a full time pitcher at TCU.

This summer, Eudy will become the first TCU player to play for the Bellingham Bells.

Ivan Rodriguez is a 5-foot-10 right-handed pitcher who is in his sophomore season with Cal State San Bernardino. Last season he pitched in eight starts and six bullpen appearances for the Coyotes. In 48.1 innings he had 26 strikeouts and a 4.66 ERA.

Rodriguez is out of Citrus Valley High School in Redlands, California. There he won a CIF championship and was a Second Team All-League selection in his four varsity seasons.

He will play in the West Coast League for the first time this summer as part of the Bellingham Bells pitching staff coached by Jim Clem.

Carter Herrera is a 5-foot-10 right-handed pitcher who is in his junior season with Cal State San Bernardino. Last season he made eight starts and four bullpen appearances with a 5.73 ERA in 44 innings. Herrera struck out 34 batters and allowed only eight walks.

Herrera began his collegiate career at Cal State Fullerton where he threw 5.2 innings in six bullpen appearances for the Division I college. At Yucaipa High School in Yucaipa, California, he was a First Team All-League selection in the Citrus Belt League as a junior and a Second Team All-League selection as a senior

The last two summers Herrera has played in the California Collegiate League for the Arroyo Seco Saints. Last summer in 19 innings he had a 2.84 ERA and the summer before he had a 3.50 ERA in 36 innings. This summer will mark his first in the West Coast League.

Rodriguez and Herrera join a long list of Coyotes turned Bells which recently includes Jason Shedlock, Jacob Mejia, Devyn Hernandez, Daryl Ruiz, Riley Parker, John Pfeffer, Giovanni Del Negro, Austyn Coleman and Cole Hage.

The Bells season begins May 30 at Nanaimo NightOwls and will play their first game at Joe Martin Field on June 3 against the Kamloops NorthPaws. Tickets go on sale April 1.
