Three SoCal players added to 2026 roster
BELLINGHAM, WA — Friday, January 30, the Bellingham Bells announced the additions of two incoming UCLA freshmen and USC freshman to the 2026 roster. This summer, Left handed pitcher Robby Zimmerman and outfielder Jaden Jackson are headed to Bellingham before joining the Bruins in Westwood this fall. Rohan Kasanagottu will play his freshman season with the Trojans before joining the Bells.
Robby Zimmerman is a six-foot-six left-handed pitcher from Redondo Union High School in California. He’s currently in his senior year of high school, but committed to UCLA this past November.
Zimmerman recently was a participant at the Under Armor Next All-America Game in September at Camden Yards in Baltimore. It was the 20th-annual edition of the nationally-recognized high school baseball showcase and Zimmerman was one of 40 top-prospects selected to compete.
This summer Zimmerman will join a long list of Bruins prospects that have passed through the Bellingham Bells organization. Fans can look forward to seeing Zimmerman throw a low 90s fastball and spin a nasty curve.
Joining the Bells this summer will be Jaden Jackson. Jackson currently is in his senior year at St. John Bosco High School, but has already made himself a national name on the 18U Team USA team that won a gold medal at the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup.
Jackson drove in the go-ahead run in the gold-medal game with an RBI against Japan in September after playing in all nine world cup games.
Jackson’s dynamic ability to play in the infield and outfield while being a lefty-batting hitter earned him invitations to the 2025 Area Code Games and Perfect Game Showcase where he established himself as a legitimate top-prospect in his class. This summer he joins the Bellingham Bells.
Rohan Kasanagottu is a six-foot-four right-handed pitcher from Valley Christian High School who graduated in 2025 as a top-100 player for his class in California. Kasanagottu pitched a 0.85 ERA in his senior year with the Warriors and was the #24 right-handed pitcher in California according to Perfect Game.
He enters his freshman year with USC known for his splitter, fastball and curveball. Kasanagottu participated in two Perfect Game National Showcases due to an illustrious prep career.
At Valley Christian, Kasanagottu was all-league twice and was named All-Bay Area Team for 2024-2025. He participated in the Area Code and in his prep career had 13 wins in 114 innings with a 1.30 ERA.
The Bells open the 2026 season on the road March 29 at Kelowna but host Wenatchee for the home opener on June 2 at 6:35 p.m.
It’s Game Time!
