Final regular season win against Falcons
Up in Kelowna, Canada the final game against the Kelowna Falcons of the regular season occurs and the Bellingham Bells come out hot and ready to win. After a couple games already splitting the series with the Falcons the Bellingham Bells pulled through and won game three of the series.
Will Armbruester was the starting pitcher for the Bellingham Bells tonight, throwing for 62 pitches with 38 strikes. In those 62 pitches Armbruester was able to strikeout three batters and only let up only one hit. Following Armbruster, was Nathan Van Beek, Sheldon Egger, and Isaac Yeager all three of them had no hits off their pitching. The defense behind each of this pitches stayed tight and that kept the Bells in the game.
On the offensive end, Nate Kirkpatrick had a great game at the plate going 3-for-4 with three singles and having one RBI. Coleman Schmidt’s sac fly, Dean West’s single, and Yohan Desserault’s double to left field drove in the other three runs of the game. Third baseman Riley Parker, was quick on the base paths taking advantage after he had been walked and gained one stolen base.
The Bells finished strong against the Kelowna Falcons and they return home tomorrow evening at 4:30 P.M. to play their first game against the Victoria Harbourcats. Following the game Petty or Not will be taking the stage for a post game concert!
