The Bells return to Bham after long trip away
The Bells won their home series against the HarbourCats last week, but the HarbourCats wanted the series win at their home field and that is just what they got. In the final game of the series against the Victoria HarbourCats, the Bellingham Bells fell short and were only able to score two runs on two hits, while the HarbourCats were able to get 10 hits and eight runs.
Bellingham struggled on the mound tonight, going through five different pitchers. Collectively they had six walks, allowed 10 hits, and eight runs scored. Each of the pitchers contributed positively to the game. Gianluca Shinn had three strikeouts in two innings and didn’t give up any free bases. Carter Parcher pitched two innings and only allowed one run. Van Beek closed the night and threw one inning and didn’t allow any runs.
At the plate tonight, the Bells only had two hits. Brady Reynolds hit his first in season home run, with one runner on base. Reynolds scored the only two runs of the evening. Struggling to hit the ball tonight, Bellingham stuck out 15 times and walked only twice.
The Bells return to Bellingham on July 4th, to take on the Kamloops Northpaws. First pitch is at 6:35 P.M. and don’t forget to stay after to watch the Fourth-of-July firework show.
It’s Game Time!
