Breaking down the WCL Championship
UP NEXT: NORTH DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
After sweeping the Kelowna Falcons, the Bells punched their ticket to the North Division Championship.
The Bells will play the Victoria Harbourcats in a one-game North Division Championship on Saturday, August 12th in Victoria B.C. at Wilson’s Group Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35pm. The Harbourcats had a better overall season record (38-15, vs. Bells overall record, 35-18) which is why they get hosting rights.
LOOKING FORWARD: WCL CHAMPIONSHIP
The WCL Championship will be held on Monday, August 14th at 6:35pm. Location TBD.
For the Bells to host the WCL Championship, they will need to win on Saturday against Victoria AND a Corvallis loss either tonight or Saturday in the South Division Championship.
(Long story short: If you want to cheer on your Bells at home one more time, root for not only the Bells, but also the Portland Pickles and the Cowlitz Black Bears!!)
It’s Game Time!
