Three UCLA Bruins Join 2025 Roster
BELLINGHAM, WA — Monday, January 27, the Bellingham Bells announced the addition of three UCLA Bruins who will be joining the 2025 roster. Hayden George, Mack Edwards and Aiden Aguayo are all incoming freshmen that are headed to Joe Martin Field this summer before attending UCLA in the fall.
Hayden George is a 6-foot-4 right-handed pitcher from Santa Margarita Catholic High School that plays in the Trinity League, one of the most competitive high school leagues in the nation.
George is in his senior season and is ranked the No. 36 right-handed pitcher in the state of California and No. 107 prospect overall according to Prep Baseball. Last season George pitched a 2.27 ERA while striking out 39 batters with a 4-1 record.
After Santa Margarita Catholic won a Trinity League title in 2023, George was named Second Team All-Trinity League. George takes his talents North this summer to play for the Bells.
Mack Edwards joins the roster as a 6-foot-5 left-handed pitcher from Reno High School. When he signed with UCLA he was the No. 1 pitcher in Nevada according to Prep Baseball.
Entering his senior season he looks to build on a junior season where he threw a 1.40 ERA with 85 strikeouts in 64.2 innings. Edwards was a First Team All-Northern Nevada League selection last season.
After being coached by Pete Savage in high school, Edwards will be coached by Pete’s younger brother, John Savage, at UCLA. But not before he works with Jim Clem in Bellingham this summer.
Aiden Aguayo is an incoming shortstop from La Mirada High School in Whittier, California. When he signed with UCLA, he was ranked as the No. 7 shortstop and No. 21 overall prospect in California by Prep baseball.
His junior season he hit .333 with six doubles, four home runs, and 24 RBI. He enters his senior high school season seeking a four-peat on the First Team All-Gateway League award list as he has been selected to the team all three seasons thus far.
Aguayo will head to Bellingham to join a long list of UCLA Bruins that played for the Bells, including his current teammates, Roman Martin, Logan DeGroot, CJ Bott, Will Goldberg, Dean West, Toussaint Bythewood, Cody Delvecchio and Payton Brennan.
The Bells season begins May 30 at Nanaimo NightOwls and will play their first game at Joe Martin Field on June 3 against the Kamloops NorthPaws. Tickets go on sale April 1.

The Bellingham Bells won the first game against the Kamloops Northpaws with a 14-12 victory in 11 innings Friday, July 11 at Norbrock Stadium in Kamloops, British Columbia. The Bells utilized a gutsy sacrifice bunt play to score two runners in the final inning and earn the win.

The Bellingham Bells were on the wrong side of a comeback in their 5-4 loss to the Edmonton Riverhawks Wednesday, July 9 at Joe Martin Field in Bellingham, Wash. The Riverhawks scored three runs in the eighth inning to earn a series win after back-to-back wins over the Bells.

The Bellingham Bells began their three-game series against the Edmonton Riverhawks with a 8-6 loss Tuesday, July 8 at Joe Martin Field in Bellingham, Wash. Edmonton got out to an early lead against WCL All-Star Preston Watkins and never looked back.
Bullpen dominates Port Angeles to win series
The Bellingham Bells earned a series win over the Port Angeles Lefties with a 7-0 shutout win Sunday, July 6 at Joe Martin Field in Bellingham, Wash. Seven pitchers combined to only allowed two hits to the Lefties and struck out seven in the dominant win.
Bells hold off Lefties for 20th win
The Bellingham Bells tied their three-game series against the Port Angeles Lefties with an 8-6 win Saturday, July 5 at Joe Martin Field in Bellingham, Wash. The two North Division squads go head-to-head in a rubber match tomorrow, Sunday July 6 in a 1:35 p.m. day game.
