Five Bellingham Bells named West Coast League All-Stars
BELLINGHAM — The West Coast League announced its 2026 All-Star selections and five Bellingham Bells will head to Victoria for the WCL All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 15. Bellingham’s selections are: Charlie Decker, Aspen Alexander, Noah Cassie, Jaden Jackson and Jake Lyall.
Charlie Decker / LHP / Puget Sound
Charlie Decker was named a West Coast League All-Star after being the Bells best starting pitcher this season. The left-handed pitcher from Puget Sound has a 2.05 ERA in 30.2 innings this summer and has amassed a 3-0 record.
After a junior season with the Loggers, Decker has shined in his first-ever West Coast League summer. In five starts and one bench appearance this year Decker has posted a 0.72 WHIP while having 14 strikeouts.
Aspen Alexander / 2B / Grand Canyon
Aspen Alexander earned an All-Star nod after batting .303 for the Bells up to his selection. Along with playing second base, Alexander has manned the outfield as a dynamic asset for Bellingham this summer.
Through 31 games he has 23 RBI, which is 12th in the West Coast League and his 24 runs scored ranks 13th in the WCL. After not playing in his freshman year at GCU, Alexander has been one of Bells best hitters, crushing three home runs and eight doubles.
Noah Cassie / 1B / Texas A&M Corpus Christi
Noah Cassie has been Bellingham’s biggest slugger this summer with a team-high six home runs, which ranks fourth in the West Coast League. Cassie’s 23 RBI and 24 runs are 12th and 13th in the league, tied with his teammate Alexander.
In 28 games Cassie has hit .330 to go along with his .538 slugging percentage. He leads the Bells in batting average and is 13th in the WCL with his high average. Cassie, who is in his third summer with the Bells, earns his first-ever All-Star selection following a junior year at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
Jaden Jackson / OF / UCLA
Jaden Jackson hasn’t been with the Bells for the entire summer, but he’s made such a large impact in his 16 games that he earned the All-Star selection. Jackson is batting .284 as Bellingham’s leadoff hitter and has a .402 on-base percentage.
He’s already provided a spark with 16 RBI and 15 runs and on 19 hits he has two doubles, one triple and two home runs. The UCLA commit from St. John Bosco High School has followed up a storied prep career with an impressive WCL summer thus far.
Jake Lyall / C / Loyola Marymount
Jake Lyall has been a consistent force in the lineup for the Bellingham Bells. Through 28 games he’s led the squad with 29 RBI, which ranks fifth in the West Coast League. He’s scored those runs with the help of a .309 batting average.
He’s delivered some good pop at the plate with four doubles, one triple and four home runs and has scored 19 runs. Along with being an offensive asset, Lyall has been a solid defender behind the plate posting a .991 fielding percentage and he’s thrown out eight runners attempting to steal.
