In game two of the second series against the Victoria HarbourCats the Bellingham Bells struggle to manufacture runs while the HarbourCats use this game as “revenge” from their series sweep when they were away at the Bellingham Bells last weekend. The HarbourCats ended up winning the game 11-1.

The Bells struggled on the mound tonight having to bring in five different pitchers, and collectively as a pitching staff they allowed 11 runs on 11 hits. Fortunately for the Bells pitching staff they did have seven strikeouts. Ty Saunders faced nine batters in two innings and had three strikeouts, allowed no runs, and only had two hits against him.

Offensively the Bells had six hits, but could only score one run. Riley Parker had one single and was able to get moved around the bases by Yohan Desserault (single), Cole Williams (single), and Nate Kirkpatrick (single) who scored Parker, the one run for the Bells.

Although the Bells had a difficult last couple days, they look to take game three from the HarbourCats tomorrow afternoon at 1:05 P.M.
