Ticket Office Coordinator – Summer 2024


Job description

The Bellingham Bells are searching for a part-time/seasonal ticket office coordinator. A successful candidate will be customer service oriented, have great communication skills and be able to use computers proficiently.

This position will work part-time hours in months leading up to the Bells season, with hours at the Bells retail location in Barkley Village. Once the Bells season begins (May 31), hours will transition to every Bells home game starting three hours prior to game time.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate ticket sales operations, including but not limited to setting up ticket software and events, fulfilling sponsor and season tickets, selling tickets to walk up customers and troubleshooting customer ticketing issues.
  • Assist customers at Bells retail store with merchandise and ticketing needs when needed.
  • Perform all duties related to the sale of game-day, group and season tickets including but not limited to advance sales, box office transactions, phone orders and will-call.
  • Reconcile daily sales with cash and charge card reports, ensure proper use of Bells accounting guidelines and cash management procedures to open and close the ticket office on a nightly basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Available for all 2024 Bellingham Bells home games (schedule available at www.bellinghambells.com).
  • Ability to work a varying schedule, including nights and weekends while in-season.
  • Prior experience working with cash management and in customer service situations.

This position will be paid on an hourly basis. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work under little direction. They must also demonstrate a positive, customer service oriented, “can-do” attitude along with exceptional interpersonal, organizational, entrepreneurial, managerial and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.87 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
