Bells Playoff Picture

08/07/2017 11:50 AM

After an exciting finish yesterday, the Bells playoff hopes are still alive! Tonight at 7:05 PM, the Wenatchee AppleSox and Corvallis Knights will face off in a makeup game (previously scheduled game that was cancelled due to air conditions) that has major playoff implications for the Bells.

IF WENATCHEE WINS TONIGHT’S GAME, Bellingham owns the three-way tie-breaker with the AppleSoxand HarbourCats and would capture the second-half North title. Bellingham would advance to the WCL North Divisional Playoffs and take on the Kelowna Falcons in a three-game series starting on Tuesday, August 8th.

IF CORVALLIS WINS TONIGHT’S GAME, Victoria owns the tie-breaker advantage with the Bells as they have posted a better in division second-half winning percentage by the slimmest of margins, .571 vs. Bellingham’s .555. A Corvallis win would give the playoff berth to Victoria.

IF WENATCHEE WINS TONIGHT GAME, BELLINGHAM WILL HOST A PLAYOFF GAME AT JOE MARTIN FIELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 8TH at 6:35 PM.

  • Tuesday’s game would feature a $2 Tuesday promotion with $2 food and drink specials, and every second ticket for $2 when first is purchased at regular price.
  • Tickets for Tuesday’s game would be available online at 10:00 AM Tuesday morning. The Joe Martin Field ticket office would also open at 12:00 PM for ticket sales, and remain open until first pitch.
