It really is, a team effort

The Bellingham Bells came out Saturday evening looking for a win, and that is just what they got. Beatting the NW Stars 9-2.  The NW Stars are the feeder team to the Ridgefield Raptors (another team in the WCL).

By far the highlight of the game was the pitching from the Bellingham Bells. The pitchers all together had an astonishing combined 22 strikeouts. The field also worked to get the last five outs, which were just pop-flys and ground outs.

On top of the stellar defense the Bells had nine hits and being very patient at the plate ending the night with 12 walks and got hit-by-pitch three times, which put fifteen runners on base. The Bells were able to score on walks, hits, and fielder’s choice by the other team.

Bring your Dads, Grampas, and other father like figure out to the game to have-a-catch afte the Bells play again June 18th, 2023 at Joe Martin Field with a game start time of 1:05 P.M.
